If you are working with a person with Parkinson’s, knowing what the patient’s electrical channels are actually doing – even detecting how the channels respond to moods and thoughts – can be extremely helpful.
If a patient is in partial recovery from Parkinson’s, being able to detect when the patient is dissociating and when he is not can be a powerful tool. The patient will be better able to appreciate what he is doing and when. Dissociation is an electrical condition that can easily be felt by a trained hand.
If you are already working with channel Qi, this class can increase your confidence and take you deeper into the art of feeling channel Qi.
Don’t want to go to Vancouver? No problem!
The class is being offered both in-person and streaming via your computer.
If you are in the streaming class, you can ask questions in real time and observe the in-person class from the comfort of wherever you happen to be.
Not an acupuncturist? Fine! You will learn powerful diagnostic techniques useful for non-acupuncturists as well as acupuncturists.
In this advanced class on feeling channel Qi, you will discover that Liver channel Qi feels different from Kidney channel Qi! Spleen channel Qi feels different from Liver and Kidney. Don’t know much about these channels? You will receive maps of all the channels.
In this class, you will first review the basics of using your hands to feel what the channels are actually doing, as taught in the Level I class. You will quickly move on to learning how to differentiate the distinct sensations given off by each of the various channels.
Classes are small: only 30 students, in-person and streamers combined.
We’d love for you to join us, in-person or on-line. Sign up soon!
Note: this is the Level II class. A prerequisite for this class is the Level I class.
Want to take this class and didn’t take Level 1 yet? No problem!
The Level I class is available as a downloadable video, sent to your computer from Eastern Currents Learning program:
Detecting Channel Qi Aberrations: Level I http://www.easterncurrents.ca/ProductDetail/RSJWH002_Recorded-Seminar-Detecting-Channel-Qi-Aberrations-1
The Level I class has a prerequisite: a quick, free, one-hour class that explains what the channels are and why it is critical to learn how to feel them, even though this art is almost never taught in modern schools of Asian medicine:
To download the free, one-hour class, go to: http://www.easterncurrents.ca/ProductDetail/RSJWH002_Recorded-Seminar-Detecting-Channel-Qi-Aberrations-1
When you get to the page, scroll down to the section titled “Prerequisites.”
These classes are designed for acupuncturists, but people with no acupuncture background, with an interest in channel Qi, have found them to be very helpful.
Eastern Currents is a highly respected, long-time provider of continuing education and distance learning for the Asian Medicine community, in Canada and abroad.
Looking forward to seeing you in class!
